Our book, a mixture of text and photos, is for anyone with a love of beauty, an interest in monastic spirituality, or simply a hunger for the things of the sprirt. The text includes a short history of monasticism, the story of Mississippi Abbey, and excerpts from the spiritual teaching of our abbesses. There are sections on prayer, work, and other aspects of monastic spirituality.
